Britny V. Maternity

Wow.

That is really the best word to describe this session! Britny is one GORGEOUS momma-to be! This was hands down one of favorite sessions to date - and that is truly saying something!

Britny is a good friend of my husband's sister, and I was beyond excited to capture these photos for her. I had been wanting to do a beach maternity session for quite some time, and Britny was even up for trying something new with me (which you'll see at the end of this!)

We started out at the water in Britny's simple black dress, and, I know this will sound cheesy, but she was positively glowing in these photos!

Boardwalk shots are also some of my favorites to get, and this beach location had a wonderful dune that provided us with a lush wall of greenery. I love all of the different textures here!

These final images I took a chance at stepping out of my usual element, and wandered into another side of maternity photography. I have to say, I absolutely love these photos, and I hope Britny does as well. I wholeheartedly think women should celebrate and embrace their bodies and curves, and these photos to me are a beautiful way to do just that.
